The only people you will likely meet here are fishermen, who are preoccupied with their craft. Unlike other remote beaches, this one has a few shacks where you can rest and relax while enjoying the refreshing beauty of the beach. These shacks provide fresh seafood meals and soft drinks.
This beach does not provide facilities for various water sports. However, this beach is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Dolphins and white-bellied fish eagles, which may be seen from the beach, are among the most popular sights here. Visitors will not find any nice accommodations in Polem Beach. Small cane homes with thatch roofs are offered for rent at reasonable rates.
The best time to visit Polem Beach is from October through March when sunshine is abundant and temperatures hover comfortably in the low 30Cs (mid 80Fs). Avoid the rainy season between June and August when the sea can be rough with dangerous currents.
