Anjuna Beach is one of them. No trip to Goa is complete without a visit to this rocky beach. It is 18 kilometers from Panaji and is located south of Vagator Beach and north of the Baga-Calangute-Candolim stretch. It is separated from these stretches by the Baga River. It is in the northern Bardez Taluka.

This beach was discovered in the 60s by American hippies. Since then it has been popular amongst international as well as national tourists.
Not as commercial as beaches like Calangute or Baga Beach, this beach is ideal for those seeking seclusion during the day as well as ways to party hard at night. This beach is well-known for its nightlife. Not just one or two, but numerous parties known primarily for their trance music and celebrated DJs keep the atmosphere lively and exciting. There are also opportunities to participate in various water sports. If you want to have a good time, go snorkeling or surfing. The rocks on this beach allow you to have fun at a low cost. There are also stalls selling permanent tattoos, henna tattoos, body piercing, and other services.
If you want to stay at the beach, you won’t be disappointed because there are numerous lodging options. Several beach shacks provide reasonably priced lodging. Casa Anjuna, Hotel Bougainvillea (Granpa’s Inn), Laguna Anjuna, and other luxurious accommodations are available.
Its weekly flea market on Wednesdays is not to be missed if you enjoy shopping. This flea market has almost everything, from artifacts to clothes to jewelry to gems to music CDs and DVDs. The prices are also very low.
